Between a rock and a hard place

Exploring traditions

Our curriculum provides many opportunities for cross curricular links which allows various subjects to be taught through the same topic.

In English we will be reading and reviewing the fantastic book ‘Stone Girl, Bone Girl.’ which follows the life of a young palaeontologist.

The title of our topic this half term is ‘Between a rock and a hard place.’
We will be exploring different types of rocks and soils and conducting scientific experiments into their properties. We will also be learning about states of matter.

learning beyond school
